“ It was well worth the wait for a table at Vic's! The cafe serves up amazing food with outstanding service. Yes, they are super busy but they are well staffed and don't let customer service falter. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade flavors, generous portions, and ample menu options! ”
“ Vic's Daily Cafe has been on the must try for a long time! I finally got around to it during the week! To my surprise, we were sat upon arrival. I was extremely happy because I've passed by many times (especially on Sundays), when you can see the full parking lot and many people waiting outside to be seated. Anyways, I enjoyed it here! They have a big menu, and because I already ate a big breakfast, I got a salad. Will definitely go back to eat a hearty New Mexican dish next time! ”
“ This has an old timer 1960s diner feel. Lots of customers of all ages. The aroma of country / New Mexico cuisine with some nice cakes and pastries. I didn't think I could finish the chicken fried steak but it was so good. There are two green chilies on top beat the red chilies. Hash browns, two eggs over easy, refried beans and a pancake. It just beat the hunger I had for getting a donut later. It's a place to take your eating clothes. Now I need a gym. ”
“ For the holiday's we were at a relatives house who had the most amazing cherry crisp. I asked where they got it from. Vic's! I had never ate there but felt I needed to make a visit. Incidentally we ordered the cherry and apple crisp for the new year. On a Sunday we arrived a Vic's and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Many waited and they went through their lists and when it was our turn, our little gadget buzzed. We ordered carne adovada and the vaquero (a very large chicken friend steak). The food is enough to share one plate. The vaquero was crunchy with red chili and cheesy goodness. I took my leftovers home and they tasted almost as good warmed in the air fryer. We will return! Great service! Friendly atmosphere and New Mexican home cookin'! ”
“ Finally made it to famous Vic's Daily Cafe! It was crowded but the wait wasn't too bad, only 30 minutes. I ordered the daily special Navajo Huevos Rancheros, with Xmas. It was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the VAQUEROS! ”
“ Decided to try Vic's for lunch this time. Had a hard time making a decision as everything on the menu looked good but settled in on the Meatloaf. Smothered in a tasty mushroom gravy with a hearty scoop on mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables (zucchini, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower) and a lice of Texas Toast. Yum My wife had the ground beef burrito smothered in XMAS with refried beans, rice and shredded lettuce and tomato. Yum.2 If you haven't been to Vic's you need to stop wasting time. Thy are the real deal. Be warned that at breakfast and lunch rush you'll be waiting for a table but they are excellent at turning those tables over in a timely manner. ”
“ EVERYTHING WAS FABULOUS!!! Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, ambiance was great, lots of happy faces eating great food. I've been trying to eat here for years but the wait is always so long! But today, a friend was visiting and we had nothing but time. Next time I have wait, I'm waiting! This was fantastic! Definitely going back wait or not. ”
“ This was my first visit to this establishment. I went with a friend for lunch on December 12, 2024. This is a busy and popular place, and has good parking out front. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were seated quickly. Decor is informal and relaxed. I certainly have the impression that many of the clientele are regulars. The menu is highly varied and has vegan selections. I had an absolutely outstanding spinach salad with strawberries, blueberries, and vinaigrette. Look at the photo! There was a lot of attention to detail that went into this salad. Prices are very reasonable. I certainly intend to return to sample other menu choices. ”
“ Still good! Not crazy about their chile but you can't have everything. The veggies are fresh and not mushy. I liked their open faced turkey sandwich and the chicken fried steak (so big I have several meals out of it). The open faced roast beef sandwich looked really good too. That's for next time. Friendly servers is always appreciated. Vic's is very festive with Christmas decorations up. ”
“ My husband and I came to Vic's for brunch last weekend. They were busy, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. It was a great day to sit out on their patio. We both had specials - frybread huevos rancheros for him and almond-crusted lemon curd French toast for me. The frybread was huge and so so good! He had it with red, which had a nice kick of heat without being overly spicy. My French toast was fantastic, sprinkled with fresh berries and powdered sugar with a generous portion of lemon curd plus a little syrup on the side. I loved it. Excellent service and great food - we'll be back! ”
